  • Using an iTero scanner, we create a 3D image of your current smile and a personalized treatment plan.
  • We will show you a 3D digital image of what your new smile will look like.
  • A set of custom clear aligners are created for you.
  • You will come in for a fitting when the aligners arrive at our office.
  • You will try on the first aligners, and we will carefully trim them to remove any rough edges and ensure that they fit comfortably.
  • You wear each aligner for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, and floss.
  • As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move gradually, week by week.
  • You’ll visit Drs. Gomez about once every 6 weeks to ensure your treatment progresses as planned.
  • You will periodically get a new set of aligners until your teeth have straightened to the final position Drs. Gomez has prescribed.
  • Total treatment time averages 9 – 15 months, and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.
